Nevada Union Dance Auditions Results:

2026-2027 School Year

Thank you so much for auditioning for the Nevada Union High School Dance Department! We were so impressed with your effort and professionalism at the audition, and we hope that you will accept your placement into the level that we feel will contribute most to your continued improvement and success as a dancer.

AUDITION PLACEMENT RESULTS 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

If your plans change and you decide that you will not enroll in our dance program, or if you would prefer a lower level class placement for more flexibility with your schedule, then please email me as soon as possible at cwadman@njuhsd.com. This will help us to maintain accurate and up-to-date enrollment numbers for the upcoming school year. It is important that you contact us if you will not be taking your spot in the class, so we can consider giving it to an alternate.

We had a very large group at this year’s audition. Please know that our judges’ panel watched each student carefully at the audition, and although there were several dancers who could have been placed into a higher level, we only had a limited number of available spots.

If we recommend you to stay at your current class level, it is because we want you to be a featured dancer in that class and a positive example for all of the new students who will be joining that level. It is an opportunity to build your confidence, technique, and be featured more in choreography. We want each level to be strong with some clear leaders. Each year, we learn new choreography and combinations. If you are disappointed with the recommended level placement for next year, I would be happy to meet with you privately to give you additional feedback and discuss our placement rationale.

Please save the dates for our biggest show of the year: Spring Dance Concert: Songs from the Movies, in the Don Baggett Theatre on April 30, May 1 and May 2 at 7pm. Stay up-to-date with our dance activities, including our Community Enrichment Dance Classes during the school year and our Summer Dance Class Series (free to NU dance students), by visiting our website: www.nevadauniondance.com.
