Our program relies on fundraising, mainly from our live performances, to provide free enrichment dance classes to our students after-school each day, as well as to hire professional guest choreographers from across the country to work with our students. ABOUT THE SHOW:
This year’s Showcase includes the theme “Inspire and Uplift.” Advanced dancers have created 12 original pieces in a variety of dance styles, performed by the intermediate and advanced dancers in the department.
Student Choreography Showcase illustrates the Nevada Union Theatrical Dance program’s emphasis on strong, classical technique and innovation in choreography, and it highlights the outstanding creative talent and excellence in the performing arts at Nevada Union.
